KGBlends is the innovative creation of serial entrepreneur, Kisha Green. She has done a remarkable job of enhancing traditional culinary recipes and lends easy inspiration to chicken, beef, pork, and seafood by developing blends that are savory while providing a fresh and healthy approach to food.
It's no secret that Kisha enjoys cooking, if you have followed her on social media. She takes pride in having an extensive spice collection. While cooking, she would often mix various herbs to create the perfect blend for a flavor that will delight your taste buds. The end result was KGBlends, a collection of her favorite herbs and spices with some healthy additions such as elderberry, ginger, sage, turmeric, and more, and most importantly, no MSG.
Initially, the idea was to create a salt-free blend for all those out there who must watch their sodium intake due to hypertension (Kisha included). She researched different spices that were delicious but also sought after spices that were healthy to use.
After conducting research and creating in her lab (her kitchen), she decided to develop more blends for those who enjoy cooking but feel bored with their current spice selections. The all-purpose blend was designed for daily cooking which could be used on everything, and for those who are fans of heat, the teriyaki jerk blend was flavorful yet had enough heat to ignite the taste buds.
